To select candidates based on the manager's psychotype, we launched an internal startup called Sailet Recrut.ink. We're an IT company from Kazakhstan specializing in software development and implementing artificial intelligence to automate business processes. For automating the recruitment process, we developed an AI model based on technologies like Python and PyTorch. The selection is based on personality assessments such as the «Big Five» and Raymond Cattell's 16-factor questionnaire.

How does it work?

The «Big Five» is a personality assessment model:

  • Agreeableness
  • Openness to new experiences
  • Conscientiousness
  • Extraversion
  • Neuroticism (how prone a person is to anxiety)
The model provides insights into: How does a person perceive the world? How do they interact with others and manage their emotions?

Raymond Cattell's 16-Factor Questionnaire (16PF) is a psychological test used to assess personality. Each factor represents a distinct personality trait. For instance, emotional stability, dominance, attention to detail, and others.

How does recrut.ink work?

The service works in the following stages:
1. Determination of the manager's psychotype. We conduct a personality study based not only on direct answers but also on behavior during testing.
2. Analysis of the job description to find suitable candidates.
3. Searching for candidate resumes in public access. The model analyzes all publicly available resumes and evaluates those submitted for a particular vacancy.
4. Automatic determination of the candidate's psychotype based on social media profiles. This is where it gets interesting. Everyone writes in their resume that they are communicative and love reading. But what's the reality? We'll ask their neural networks.
5. Finding a free slot in the schedule of the manager or recruiter.
6. Scheduling meetings with the best candidates.
